Hearts Alive Village has many adorable animals waiting for their furever homes. Here are the picks of the week.

Cuddles (aka Charlie) and Smokey (aka Smokey Joe)
This 17-year old bonded pair is enjoying retirement in their stylish Hawaiian shirts. You’d never know that these handsome boys were seniors. They are active and inquisitive and enjoy a good luau from time to time. Charlie and Smokey Joe enjoy the company of other cats and would love to find a family with nice laps for them to cuddle in. Their fosters will be moving out of state shortly so they’d like to find a forever home to live out their golden years surrounded by love, family, and their favorite television show… you guessed it, Hawaii Five-O. If you are interested in meeting the boys, email info@heartsalivevillage.org.
Sandy
Sandy is still looking for her forever home! She’s approximately 11-years old, but you’d never know it. This sweet girl has the energy of a 5-year old pup. Her foster family is watching this girl – who likely spent her early years living outside – blossom into a happy, loving family dog. She enjoys time with other dogs (no cats, though), but is also happy to have the full attention of her human. She likes Jazz. That’s right, this little girl enjoys the smooth sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, and all the legends. She also enjoys canned fish, because you know… fish. Sandy wants nothing more than to cuddle, take walks, and be praised for being the wonderful pupper she is. If you are interested in meeting Sandy, please email info@heartsalivevillage.org.
Tip
That’s right, Tip is still with us! We can’t figure out how this sweet, handsome old man hasn’t been adopted yet. At 13-years old, he wants nothing more than a loving family to live out the rest of his days. And he deserves it! Tip is doing well with his foster dad, but now, he’s got to go back to work and Tip needs a new home… a forever home. He enjoys taking slow walks to stop and sniff the flowers (and maybe pee on them). He’s happy settling in for a night of MASH reruns too. He just wants to have his human nearby so he knows that he’ll never be alone again. He’s potty trained, UTD on his vaccines, micro-chipped, and neutered. When you’re out for a stroll, he’ll say hi to humans and to other dogs… best not to stop to chat with a bunny though. He’s not a fan. If you would like to meet Tip, please email info@heartsalivevillage.org. You have the power to give this old man the golden years he deserves.
