For the second day in a row, Clark County saw a triple-digit surge in the number of new COVID-19 cases. The Southern Nevada Health District reported Wednesday that the county saw 176 new cases overnight, following an increase of 107 cases Tuesday. There were also an additional 7 deaths. Countywide the number of positive cases is 5,045 with the deaths standing at 275. The SNHD estimates that 4,221 of those patients, or nearly 84 percent, have recovered.
