206,000 Out of Work in Gaming Industry Alone

How many Nevadans are being affected by the Governor's statewide shutdown order? In the gaming industry alone, that number is near 206,000 according to the American Gaming Association.

The Governor's mandate shut all 219 commercials casinos' in Nevada for at least 30-days to help slow the spread of Covid-19.

Each month the casino's are closed leads to a $4.7 billion loss in economic activity. Nevada’s gaming workforce makes up about 33 percent of the total U.S. gaming workforce prevented from working.
