Sahara Begins Laying Off Employees

Sahara Las Vegas has become the latest resort to begin laying off employees in the wake of COVID-19. A number of employees were called into management offices Monday and told they were laid off. The company says they will maintain employees current insurance coverage while in layoff status, if the employee continues to pay the team member portion. The Sahara is owned by Alex Meruelo.
