It’s official! Disney+ is doing a Mighty Ducks series. And Emilio Estevez will return as Coach Gordon Bombay, whom he played in both the original movie and the sequel. It has been reported that Estevez will appear in all ten episodes, as a series lead. That means he’s a major player, and not just a cameo roll like he had in the 1996 movie.
Sounds like some original younger characters will also return in the revival. There’s been hints of Nick, the shy video game player. Also Mary, the popular girl. And Lauren, the social pariah. No word yet as to who will play these rolls. Get the whole story here.
