It's actually a bit terrifying how DEEPFAKE videos are going to affect the future of, like, EVERYTHING! Right now, someone can make a pretty convincing video of ANYONE doing ANYTHING. Don't believe me?

Check this out - An impressionist named Jim Meskimen (Parks & Recreation, Whose Line?, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) made a video of himself reciting a poem as various celebrities, while changing his face to look like them.  It's amazing, but also a bit eerie.

The faces don't look the least bit unnatural.  Maybe there are experts who can pick these things out, but given where the technology is now, it seems entirely possible there will come a time when even they can't.

Some of the faces he morphs into include Robert DeNiro, Anthony Hopkins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Morgan Freeman, George W. Bush, and Ian McKellen.
