Looks like the 1985 cult classic is the next remake to come down the Hollywood pipeline. This one already has some famous names attached to it. Jason Bateman, basically a cult classic himself, will be the director of the remake. Fresh off his Emmy win for Ozark, Bateman will also most likely star in the new movie. Ryan Reynolds has also been enlisted as a cast member. Looks like it could be fun, though nothing will ever take the place of the original.
