An interview with Blondie members Chris Stein and Debbie Harry just resurfaced. Spin Magazine first published it in 1986. It was right after MTV took over the national airwaves. It was also a few years after Blondie split up, though Debbie and Chris were still an item. The interview covers the band break-up, Chris’s sudden illness, and what Chris thinks of the MTV movement. (Spoiler alert: it’s not good).
