If you've been thinking about adopting a new pet, this is the weekend to do it. It's Petsmart's National Adoption Weekend. PetSmart stores and PetSmart Charities come together with local shelters and animal foundations four times a year, to find pets their new homes. This weekend, all local Petsmart stores will have pets on display. Besides dogs and cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits and even some farm animals are available. A search for a specific pet can easily be done at info@petsmartcharities.org.

PetSmart encourages those who can't adopt to still inspire others to do so. Take pictures of adoptable pets, and post them to social media with the hashag #PicMe.
