The infamous Madonna "break-up letter" is finally going to auction, and Madonna is none too happy about it.

It's the downside of being famous, for sure. Something that is usually so personal becoming so public. Madonna tried to stop it, but she had signed a release years ago, so off to auction it goes.

The letter was written to Madonna in 1995 by her then boyfriend, Tupac Shakur. He wrote the letter from jail, while awaiting sentencing for a sexual assault conviction. It explains Shakur's reasons for breaking up with Madonna. Shakur was killed the following year in Las Vegas.
