Paula Abdul performed a medley of her hits at the BMA's last night here in Las Vegas. And now she's getting all kinds of scrutiny for how OBVIOUS it was that she wasn't singing. My question is this: do we really care?

Not sure the naysayers are aware of how hard it is to dance and sing at the same time. I'm not talking about the lounge crooner kind of swaying...I'm talking full on choreography for over 5 minutes. That takes a lot of breath, and singing on pitch without huffing and puffing at the same time, would be a challenge for most people. And let's not forget that Paula is 56!! She looks amazing and her dancing is still on point.

Oh...and she pelted fellow dancer Julianne Hough with her hat, so that was a fun little surprise for everyone, mostly Julianne, who recovered beautifully in her dressing room with a makeshift towel neck brace.
