Some of the biggest bands of the 1960’s emerged from Los Angeles’ Laurel Canyon, and its history is explored in the documentary Echo in the Canyon.
The film features appearances from Tom Petty, Brian Wilson, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Graham Nash, Michelle Phillips, Jackson Browne, Stephen Stills, David Crosby and features Jakob Dylan as host/narrator interviewing all of these big names that chronicle the iconic “California sound.”
Echo in the Canyon will open in L.A. on May 24, followed by New York on May 31. A nationwide release is tentatively planned for June.
