KKLZ Music News

Foo Fighters have a knack for attracting all sorts of special guests to their shows, and for one of their recent shows at Fenway Park, one icon’s appearance came out of left field.

Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh joined the Foos on stage and fronted the band for a performance of his solo hit “Rocky Mountain Way.”  With Walsh playing lead and Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett providing a bold rhythm track, the classic rock mainstay somehow managed to sound cooler than it already is.

Hopefully, with the Foos future tour dates, we’ll see more guest appearances like this and fewer like the awkward times John Travolta has come on stage and just stood there doing nothing.  He didn’t even dance a little.  Tony Manero would be so ashamed!
