"Oh, the bright burly light". Yep. That's how Ann Wilson does the National Anthem. Or at least that's how the Heart singer did it this week at the Special Olympics USA games opening in Seattle.

So, what happened? Did she wake up late and forget her coffee? Was she so certain of the lyrics to the song that she didn't practice and it bit her in the backside?

At first, it looks like she is staring at a teleprompter, but alas there is nothing there. So maybe she was just got in the stare of her brain freeze, or maybe her fancy new purple teleprompter sunglasses were blurry. Of course, being the rock star that she is, she recovered beautifully and nailed the power notes.
