FLASHBACK: Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels on ‘Hullabaloo’

Mitch Ryder celebrates his birthday today (February 26), and we’ve decided to flashback to this classic performance from a 1966 episode of Hullabaloo.

“Jenny Take A Ride” was the breakout hit for Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, and it totally holds up today. C’mon…it’s got a good beat and you can dance to it. Who couldn’t love this single?

Also, is it just us, or does anyone else miss shows like Hullabaloo?

High octane, turbo, high performance, super-charged - MITCH RYDER & The Detroit Wheels didn't need to hail from the Motor City for those adjectives to be tossed their way, but it was certainly appropriate that they called Motown home.
