They started in San Francisco in 1968, and 50 years later, the Steve Miller Band is still going strong. Next year they are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a ton of reissues and special projects for their fans.
It sounds like these reissues are something to really look forward to. When the band first started, it was Capitol records they were working with. Capitol has since been bought out by Universal, who have a different take on what material should be released. That means we can look forward to some never before released tracks, like the live version of Space Cowboy, among others.
