In the days since Tom Petty’s passing, more tributes have surfaced from all corners of the entertainment world. Here are some of our favorites.

Corey Taylor Sings “You Got Lucky”

The Slipknot/Stone Sour singer performed a moving acoustic rendition of this Petty hit, and we just can’t get enough of it.

Connie Britton Shares Video From Petty’s Final Concert

The Nashville/Friday Night Lights actress was at Petty’s final tour show at the Hollywood Bowl and captured this video of “Don’t Come Around Here No More.” She shared the video via Instagram along with a beautiful caption that included the following: “Maybe his soul knew, I don't know. But regardless he was sparkling and dancing in the gift he was giving his audience. And he was alive in it.”

Adam Scott Shares His Review of ‘Full Moon Fever’ From His High School Newspaper

The Parks & Recreation actor letter shared one of the more unique tributes to Petty’s music. On Twitter, he shared photos of an article he wrote for his high school newspaper, which was a rebuttal of a less-than-favorable review of Petty’s Full Moon Fever. He took particular issue with the album being called “soft rock,” a term he said was reserved “for artists like Air Supply, REO Speedwagon and other nightmares of the late seventies.”

More Tributes On Social Media

Some of music’s biggest names decided to take to social media to share their tributes. Here’s a roundup of some you may have missed.

Erica Banas is a news blogger who's been covering the rock/classic rock world since 2014. The coolest event she's ever covered in person was the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. (Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
