Paul McCartney put out a message that his concert on Friday (September 15) was going to be "a night full of memories for me" -- and, as it turned out, for fans at the show.

McCartney was joined by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven Van Zandt for not one but two renditions of the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There." McCartney introduced the pair as "friends of ours...(to) come up and rock with us tonight" before trading verses with Springsteen on the song.

McCartney also referenced the last time the two played together -- during Springsteen's 2012 show in London's Hyde Park when authorities pulled the plug on the jam due to curfew. McCartney led the troupe immediately into the second version of the song as the first ended.

McCartney later tweeted a photo with the message, "Rockin' out with The Boss -- Sounded so good we had to do it twice!" Van Zandt's wife Maureen also tweeted, "3 hours sleep, but what a night! There is nothing like a Paul McCartney show. Fab band, great songs, the loveliest group of people. Magic."

McCartney's One On One Tour continues Tuesday and Thursday (September 19 and 21) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
