It's been nine years since Billy Joel's appeared on daytime TV, but he'll be ending the hold-out next week.

Joel will appear Monday (September 12) on the second season premiere of fellow piano man Harry Connick Jr.'s syndicated talk show Harry, chatting with the host as well as performing solo and with Connick. This will mark Joel's first daytime appearance since a 2008 visit to Oprah. Stations and showtimes can be found at HarryTV.com.

Joel next performs Saturday (September 9) at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, while his next monthly Madison Square Garden show in New York takes place September 30.
