Today, we stumbled across a video about how long people should dunk an Oreo for.

While this information may seem trivial, it’s worth noting we are talking about an Oreo — the world’s favorite chocolate cookie with creme filling.

According to researchers at the University of Utah, the perfect amount of time to dunk your Oreo in milk is three seconds.

Upon watching the video, shared by WIS 12, we started thinking about what was missing in this study.

And the one thing that is evident is the study does not account for how people dunk their Oreo cookie.

Wait, is there more than one way to dunk an Oreo?

Well yes, yes there is.

Let’s take it one step further. Is there a right and wrong way to dunk an Oreo?

Again, our answer is yes!

How many times have you lost an Oreo in your glass of milk while dunking your favorite chocolate cookie?

Guess what?! You never have to lose another Oreo cookie again!

Okay, breathe. Collect your thoughts and grab an Oreo, a glass of milk, and a fork.

Yes, you read that right. Grab a fork. Ask questions later.

Okay so, here’s what you need to do.

Wedge the fork in-between the two chocolate wafers, and then dunk your Oreo into the glass of milk.

Look what just happened! You didn’t lose your Oreo in your glass of milk, did you?

You’re welcome.
