“My Only True Friend” is the lone original track from Allman’s final studio album, Southern Blood, which comes out September 8. The other nine tracks are covers from the likes of Bob Dylan, Willie Dixon, Jackson Browne and many more.
Southern Blood will be available in three formats: Standard CD, deluxe CD with two extra tracks and a bonus DVD and limited edition first run LP featuring hardwood colored heavyweight vinyl and exclusive lithograph. All formats, including exclusive bundles, can be pre-ordered at GreggAllman.com.
