NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 12: Roger Waters and Eddie Vedder perform at "12-12-12" a concert benefiting The Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy presented by Clear Channel Media & Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company at Madison Square Garden on December 12, 2012 in New York City.

Roger Waters’ “Us + Them” tour is already one of the hottest tickets this summer, and those at the Chicago show last night (July 23) were surprised by an extra-special guest during the encore.

Waters launched into the Pink Floyd classic “Comfortably Numb,” and as he approached the first chorus, Eddie Vedder stealthy made his way to the stage.  It took a couple of lines into the chorus for the crowd to realize who was at the mic, but the performance was simply sublime.

Pearl Jam is current on a break from the road, while Vedder has a few solo dates scheduled for September.  Waters, meanwhile, will be playing his next show on July 26 in St. Paul, Minn. with his “Us + Them” tour lasting through the end of October.
