Kansas To Play ‘Point Of Know Return’ In Its Entirety

Even as it announces more Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour Dates for this year, Kansas is already hatching plans to play its follow-up album, 1977's Point Of Know Return, in its entirety.

Kansas will be playing Leftoverture, which it started doing last year for that album's 40th anniversary, throughout this year, including a late summer and fall trek that begins August 25 in Shreveport, La. But drummer Phil Ehart tells us that 2018 will bring both a new Kansas album, a follow-up to last year's The Prelude Implicit, as well as a tour playing the quadruple-platinum Point Of Know Return in its entirety:

"We're gonna go out and perform...'Point of Know Return' in its entirety, so we're gonna use the same formula. No reason it shouldn't be as successful. That album sold even more copies than 'Leftoverture' because of 'Dust In The Wind'...We hope we're gonna be able to do this again."

Tickets for Kansas' summer and fall shows start going on sale March 31.
