Larry Martino has been entertaining Southern Nevada radio audiences since 1994. He has hosted the afternoon drive home on top-rated Las Vegas radio stations such as KOOL 105.5 "Good Times & Great Oldies", STAR 102.7 "All 80s All The Time", and now 96.3 KKLZ "The Greatest Hits of All Time!"

Since his professional broadcasting career began in 1980, Martino has served as Program Director or Music Director for radio stations throughout the nation, including Hanover, NH; Pueblo, CO; Nashville, TN; Bakersfield, CA; Riverside-San Bernardino, CA; and now here in Las Vegas.

Martino has also won 13 Las Vegas Electronic Media Awards for his commercial and promotional writing, production and voice-work. In 2011, he won the EMA for "Best On Air Talent (Non AM Drive).

He's been married to his wife Becky since 1986 (at left in photo), and he plays ice hockey in a men's recreational league at the Fiesta Rancho just about every Wednesday night (photo below).

Why I chose radio: I grew up listening to legendary Top 40 station 77 WABC/New York, and I was hooked for life!

Funniest Radio Story: While I was the Program Director at Top 40 station 96KISS in Nashville in 1985, the Arista Records label representative called and asked if I would make time to meet their newest recording artist. I told her I was extremely busy that week with meetings and things and couldn't do it. That new recording artist: Whitney Houston! (oops)

Something You May Not Know About Me: I do 90% of the cooking in our home....probably because I do 90% of the eating!
