New Beach Boys Box Set Due Out June 30

After celebrating Pet Sounds' 50th anniversary last year the Beach Boys have dug into their vaults again for a sweeping compilation called 1967: Sunshine Tomorrow.

The set includes a stereo version of the group's Wild Honey album, plus a wealth of unreleased session outtakes and material from the Smiley Smile and abandoned Smile album sessions and live tracks from Detroit, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh and the previously unreleased Lei'd In Hawaii album that was actually recorded in a studio in Hollywood, Calif.

1967 is due out June 30.

The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson are both on tour this summer, the latter playing "Pet Sounds" in its entirety. The full "1967" track list includes:

(The touring Beach Boys - Mike, Carl, Dennis, Al, and Bruce – embarked on a Thanksgiving Tour immediately after delivering the finished Wild Honey album to Capitol Records. For this tour, the band was augmented by Ron Brown on bass and Daryl Dragon on keyboards.)
